  • Dome wall thickness is 5 5/16”
  • Standard internal wall thickness = 4”
  • Standard external wall thickness = 6”
  • Non-dome external walls have been designed at 1’ thick
  • Double Height = 36’ 11 3/16” Diameter = 73’ 10 ⅜”
  • Floors are all 6” thick:
    • Floor 1 – Ceiling 13’1” / Bottom of Floor -6” / Surface of Floor 0
    • Floor 2 – Ceiling 10’11” / Bottom of Floor 13’ 1” / Surface of Floor 13’ 7”
    • Floor 3 – Ceiling 11’11 3/16” / Bottom of floor 24’6” / Surface of Floor 25’
    • Floor 4 Cupola ceiling 8’ (starts to slope) / Bottom of Floor 36’ 11 3/16” / Surface of Floor 37′ 5 3/16″

Main Entry

PICTURE ABOVE:

  • Current double-door width including frame is 6’ 4” (closeup picture of this area is included)Space on each side of the door is 6’ 10”
  • Internal distance from the front door to the door into the central pool area is 16’ 9”
  • The entries into the domes on each side are already designed and 12’ wide. The picture below shows the one on the right that would be the entry into the social dome. The purpose of these is to block out sound and heat loss or gain whenever we want to.
