Aayush Shetty – Software Developer: Aayush is a software developer with 3 years of professional experience in backend and frontend development, API integration, and working with modern frameworks and databases. He has contributed to projects that involve building scalable applications, managing state through Redux, and creating interactive dashboards for data visualization. Aayush’s professional background includes hands-on work with JavaScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB, and he is passionate about creating practical solutions that improve functionality and usability. As a member of the One Community team, Aayush has supported the Highest Good Network software by reviewing high-priority pull requests, enhancing the PR Admin Dashboard, and developing backend and frontend features for the Phase 2 Summary Dashboard, including a line chart that tracks total injuries over time.

Abdelmounaim Lallouache – Software Developer: Abdel is an experienced web developer with expertise in developing full-stack web applications. He is skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, ExpressJS, and various databases. He holds a certificate in Full Stack Web Development from Northwestern University, Evanston, and a bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technologies from INPTIC, Algeria. As a member of the One Community team, Abdel is helping with the development of the open source Highest Good Network software project and time tracking software that manages, tracks, and rewards volunteer labor hours.

Adil Zulfiquar – Engineer: Adil is an accomplished engineer with 3 years of experience in Product Engineering for a leading global industrial equipment manufacturer. With a Master’s in Engineering Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, Adil brings expertise in Engineering Design and Project Engineering, adeptly managing complex, global projects. He is proficient in a range of technical and project management tools, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PLM Windchill, MS Project, as well as data analytics tools like Power BI and Tableau. As a dedicated member of the One Community Vermiculture Team, Adil contributed significantly to the development of a vermiculture transport solution. His role involved rigorous research and detailed scenario analysis, leading to an optimized selection of electric vehicles, utility trailers, and essential equipment to ensure safe and efficient transportation.

Adithya Cherukuri– Software Engineer: Adithya is a software engineer with strong experience in full-stack development, AI-driven platforms, and data visualization tools. He has worked extensively with technologies such as React.js, Node.js, Next.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker, while also contributing to research in computer vision and generative AI, including deep learning models for wildfire and flood monitoring and Renaissance art restoration using GANs. He holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington and has contributed to both open-source and research communities. As a member of the One Community software team, Adithya has developed interactive analytics dashboards for the Highest Good Network project, including a horizontal bar graph visualizing the average number of months pledged by role and a role- and date-filtered popularity line chart tracking hits and applications over time.

Aditya Gambhir – Software Engineer & Data Scientist: Aditya is a software engineer and data scientist who earned a Master of Science in Computational Data Science from the University of California, Riverside. He specializes in full-stack development and machine learning, with a focus on building scalable applications and optimizing backend architectures. Aditya utilizes automation and testing to maintain software reliability, applying his experience with CI/CD pipelines to improve development workflows. As a member of the One Community team, Aditya has implemented a mentor-tracking system for the volunteer statistics Highest Good Network dashboard, resolved data double-counting errors to improve reporting accuracy, and developed dynamic filtering for the Issues Breakdown Chart to enable sorting by project, date, and issue type.

Ajay Adithiya Kumar Elancheliyan Tamilalagi – Mechanical Design & Simulation Engineer: Ajay is a Mechanical Engineer with around 3 years of combined experience across engineering projects. He has worked on advanced automotive systems, EV battery component optimization, HVAC design, lattice heat-sink R&D, and mechanical prototyping using tools such as SolidWorks and CATIA. Ajay is passionate about creating efficient, reliable, and sustainable engineering solutions that integrate performance, manufacturability, and real-world application. As a member of the One Community Engineering Team, Ajay has contributed to the ventilation system design for the vermiculture eco-toilet system, completing FEA and CFD validation, material selection, updated CAD assemblies, an optimized BOM, design revisions, and collaboration toward the project’s final documentation and development.

Akshay Jayaram – Software Engineer: Akshay is a recent Computer Science graduate from UCR, with expertise in cloud computing, DevOps, and full-stack development. He specializes in building scalable solutions using AWS, Terraform, and CloudFormation. He also has experience creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces with React.js, TypeScript, and Node.js. Passionate about generative AI, he explores emerging technologies and integrates them into modern applications. Akshay has contributed as a Full Stack Developer on the One Community team, supporting the development and testing of features across multiple phases of the Highest Good Network software—including work on reports, projects, and user management components.

Akshith Kumar Reddy Balappagari Gnaneswara– Software Engineer: Akshith is a versatile software engineer who holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Los Angeles. He is experienced in building scalable, user-focused applications using Java, Spring Boot, Python, Node.js, and front-end frameworks including React, Angular, and Vue. Akshith has expertise in developing RESTful APIs, optimizing backend systems, and creating data-driven solutions. Aspiring to grow as a data engineer and analyst, he is passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights. As a member of the One Community team, Akshith has contributed to PR reviews and backend development tasks for the Highest Good Network Project, including designing and implementing the Student Tasks database, which enables structured task assignments, prerequisite tracking, and includes both educator- and auto-assigned workflows.

Alisha Walunj – Software Developer: Alisha is a skilled full-stack developer with expertise in React, Spring Boot, and cloud-based application design. As a member of the One Community team, she has contributed to key initiatives on the Highest Good Network software, such as project versioning upgrades, including Node.js updates, and resolving linting issues to enhance code quality and maintainability. She has also implemented dropdown filters to improve search functionality for a listing and bidding platform, developed a detailed view page with image carousels and integrated map displays, and configured application routing for seamless navigation.

Amalesh Arivanan – Software Development Engineer: Amalesh is a software development engineer with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University (Class of December 2024) and extensive experience building scalable full-stack applications. He has contributed to AI-powered tools, infrastructure automation, and large-scale web systems across diverse tech stacks, including React.js, Angular, Spring Boot, Node.js, and AWS. Amalesh is passionate about building efficient, maintainable software and is skilled in cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized microservices. As part of the Highest Good Network software team, he has overhauled the error messaging architecture using React.js and Node.js. By enforcing custom hooks and shared components, he reduced code duplication across dashboard modules and led frontend routing improvements that enhanced navigation flow. Amalesh has also driven cross-functional collaboration, reviewed high-priority PRs, mentored contributors, and led backlog cleanup to accelerate development cycles. His work consistently focuses on optimizing performance, security, and user experience.

Andrew Tzu-Chien – Industrial Designer: Andrew recently graduated from Monash University with three years of experience in Industrial Design through academic work, specializing in CAD 3D modeling, producing rendered visualizations, and problem solving. As a member of the One Community team, Andrew is contributing to the 2nd floor Dormer window design for the Duplicable City Center ensuring the window frame fits within the spherical architecture of the building. He has revised the original first-floor design and adapted it for the second floor, creating high-accuracy 3D models and 2D assembly drawings. His work includes evaluating structural functionality using stress simulations and optimizing parts for ease of manufacturing while maintaining the intended design aesthetic.

Anuneet Kaur – Project Manager & Team Administrator: Anuneet brings a multidisciplinary background, holding a Master of Science in Administration with a concentration in Project Management from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry. With one year of clinical experience in dentistry, she has transitioned into a growing role in project coordination, sustainability research, and digital content management. As a member of the One Community team, Anuneet supports various sustainability initiatives by researching sustainable materials for the graphic team, optimizing and compressing images for SEO, and ensuring accuracy in content updates across multiple web pages. She is actively involved in volunteer onboarding—creating bio announcements, verifying bios, and maintaining bio tracking systems—as well as participating in the hiring and training process. Anuneet also serves as an administrator for the Highest Good Education, Highest Good Society, and Core Teams, where she reviews submissions, ensures completeness, and promotes operational consistency. Her ongoing work on Phase 4 of the Highest Good Education Software and her contributions to the Education Program Licensing and Accreditation content reflect her design thinking and user-focused approach. Her combined strengths in research, administration, and collaboration help advance One Community’s mission of open-source sustainability and global transformation.

Anusha Gali – Software Engineering & Quality Assurance Professional: Anusha has pursued a Master of Science in Information Systems at Northeastern University and brings over three years of experience in software engineering and quality assurance. She specializes in test automation, frontend and backend validation, API testing, defect tracking, and debugging distributed systems. Her technical experience includes working with Java, JavaScript, React, Node.js, SQL, Selenium, and REST APIs in Agile environments on large-scale applications. As a member of the One Community team, Anusha has helped improve the quality and stability of the Highest Good Network (HGN) application through structured testing and pull request validation. She reviews pull requests, executes functional UI test cases, identifies defects, documents reproducible issues, and verifies fixes across multiple features and environments.

Ariana V. Gutierrez Doria Medina – Industrial Designer: Ariana recently graduated as a technician in Industrial Design and is eager to develop a career as a product developer with a strong focus on sustainability. Her greatest aspiration is to design innovative products that conserve resources such as time and space while making a meaningful impact on both society and the environment. As a member of the One Community team, Ariana has contributed to cost analysis and the development of assembly instructions for the dormer windows, which are an integral part of the remarkable design of the Duplicable City Center.

Aseem Deshmukh– Software Engineer: Aseem is a skilled Full Stack Developer experienced in building scalable web and mobile applications using React Native, Node.js, Spring Boot, Java, Python, and MongoDB. She holds a master’s in Information Systems from Northeastern University. Professionally, she has worked with NUUBI Inc., Birlasoft Ltd., and Meshbase Tech Pvt. Ltd., delivering solutions that enhanced efficiency, security, and user experience. As part of the One Community Highest Good Network software team, Aseem has contributed to code and PR reviews, worked on fixing bugs, and integrated the autoposter for Instagram and X platforms into the new UI, ensuring seamless functionality and improved performance.

Ashutosh Mishra– Senior Software Engineer: Ashutosh is a software engineer with a diverse background spanning Electronics and a Master’s in Computer Science. He brings full-stack expertise and a systems-level understanding to deliver highly optimized solutions. He has a proven track record of architecting infrastructures capable of handling over 100,000 requests per minute while reducing latency by 25%. As part of the One Community team, Ashutosh has played a key role in developing an intelligent, agentic, AI-powered virtual assistant. This assistant integrates seamlessly with the backend of the Highest Good Network software, performing agentic actions such as fetching reports, sending emails, and assigning BlueSquares, all governed by robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) mechanisms that ensure secure and effortless user interaction. Currently, he is also leading efforts to extend the assistant into a 3D avatar interface of the Learning Tools and Toys for Life, transforming it into an engaging, conversational front-end that enhances user experience.

Aswin “Tony” Kanikairaj – Software Engineer: Aswin is a software engineer with 4+ years of experience building and operating backend-heavy and full-stack systems across SaaS, fintech, and large-scale data platforms, demonstrating strong ownership from design through production delivery. He has hands-on expertise with React, Next.js, Node.js, FastAPI, SQL, and cloud-native workflows, and is currently focused on building reliable, scalable, and accessible user-facing systems with a strong emphasis on performance, maintainability, and usability. As a member of the One Community Software Team, Aswin has contributed consistently to the Highest Good Network by implementing UI and UX improvements, fixing accessibility and dark mode issues, enhancing filtering and data visibility across dashboards, refining reusable React components, reviewing and integrating pull requests, and completing multiple tracked WBS tasks that improved clarity, usability, and reliability across core software modules.

Ayushman Dutta – Mechanical Engineer: Ayushman is a mechanical engineer with demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering and sustainable technology development through experience at leading organizations, including Tesla, Novelis, and GE Healthcare. He specializes in mechanical design, CAE analysis, thermal systems modeling, and manufacturing optimization, with proven success in reducing costs and improving system efficiency. He is committed to leveraging engineering innovation to drive sustainability and create solutions that benefit both industry and the environment. As a member of the One Community engineering team, Ayushman has contributed to the structural analysis and mechanical design of the Dome Hub Connector for the open-source Duplicable City Center’s geodesic dome, helping ensure the safety, efficiency, and real-world viability of the design while also developing manufacturing processes for the dome.

Bevan Chiu – Mechanical Engineer: Bevan is a recent Master’s graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. He has experience working on team-based projects and creating detailed CAD models with complex assemblies using SolidWorks and Siemens NX. He has a passion for translating conceptual ideas into practical, buildable solutions. Bevan values efficiency and sustainability that create positive societal impact. As a member of the One Community team, Bevan has researched different DIY, replicable methods for the spa system. He has also developed and assembled the 3D CAD model for the Duplicable City Center Natural Pool & Spa project, including the underbody structure and plumbing systems.

Bhanu Anish Akkineni– Software Engineer: Bhanu is a Software Engineer with a strong interest in building scalable full-stack applications and AI/ML-driven solutions. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he developed a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals along with hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning models. As a member of the Software Development team at One Community, Bhanu played a key role in architecting the Kitchen and Inventory Management system at a low-level design stage and delivering well-defined technical artifacts. He went on to build a responsive and interactive frontend using React.js and developed robust RESTful APIs for the backend, powering the Inventory module of the portal. This component serves as a critical part of the system, enabling seamless addition, tracking, and management of inventory items.

Bhavpreet Singh- Full Stack Developer: Bhavpreet is a versatile full stack developer with strong experience in building scalable and user-friendly web applications. He specializes in the MERN stack and Next.js, and has a proven track record of delivering clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Bhavpreet is passionate about creating intuitive user experiences and solving complex technical challenges with thoughtful, performance-optimized solutions. He believes in the power of collaboration, open-source development, and using technology as a force for good. As a member of the One Community team, Bhavpreet has developed the list overview, built the interactive map, and implemented numerous bug fixes and hotfixes to enhance overall system functionality and user experience for the Highest Good Network.

Carl Bebli – Software Developer and (former) Petroleum Geologist: Carl has nearly 2 years of software development experience, with a lot of projects under his belt. He has demonstrated high levels of dedication and willingness to learn, which are desirable traits needed to excel in the tech field. He is a team player and is very ready to collaborate with like-minded developers to ensure the success of the One Community team. Carl is contributing as a full-stack developer with the open source Highest Good Network software project and time tracking software that manages, tracks, and rewards volunteer labor hours.

Carlos Martinez – Full Stack Web Developer: Carlos is a dedicated software developer specializing in web development. He is completing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at California State University, East Bay. With extensive experience in MongoDB, Express, React, and Node, Carlos seamlessly integrates into full-stack roles, contributing to various applications such as the Blue Squares System, bidding platform, and user profiles. As a member of the One Community Team, Carlos has helped improve the user experience on the site and create components that visualize applicant data for processing. Recently, he enhanced the Highest Good Network Skills Forms and Skills Profiles by implementing CSS modules and dark mode for an improved user experience.

Chaitanya Swaroop Kumar Allu– Software Engineer: Chaitanya brings over 2.5 years of software engineering experience and excels at combining scalable system design with meaningful user experiences. He is passionate about building software that is both robust and resource-efficient. As part of the One Community Software Team, he designed and developed an end-to-end access provisioning system that automated service setup for new hires across multiple internal tools. Chaitanya also reviewed pull requests to strengthen team efficiency, code quality, and reliability on the Highest Good Network project. He is additionally designing an in-app replacement for email marketing to reduce external costs and improve privacy and integration for weekly subscriber updates.

Chelsea Mariah Stellmach – Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM): Chelsea has a decade of experience leading projects in the education, nonprofit, and business development sectors. She specializes in streamlining systems, building inclusive workflows, and improving digital tools to maximize organizational impact. Her approach is rooted in continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and long-term sustainability. Chelsea is committed to open-source knowledge sharing, equitable access to resources, and meaningful cross-cultural partnerships. As a member of the One Community team, Chelsea has contributed to the Highest Good Food initiative by revising the Recipe Build-Out Tool Page Report, developing and refining the Transition Food Self-Sufficiency Plan menus and customization spreadsheets, and improving the usability and integration of the Food Procurement and Storage plan and tutorial to support a more sustainable and accessible global food model.

Chirag Bellara – Software Engineer: Chirag is a versatile software and AI engineer with over three years of hands-on experience building scalable systems and end-to-end product features across both industry and research environments. With a background spanning full-stack development, cloud-native architectures, and applied machine learning, he has delivered solutions that improve performance, reliability, and user experience across complex technical ecosystems. As part of the One Community team, Chirag contributes to the Highest Good Network project by reviewing and merging pull requests across both the React frontend and Node.js backend, maintaining code quality and consistency throughout the platform. Chirag also creates structured bug- and feature-tracking workflows that improve team coordination and release planning, and develops features and resolves defects such as project and tool filtering on the Community Portal and time-based activity filtering for user productivity views.

Derrell Brown – MEP Designer: Derrell has 2 years of experience in MEP design across multiple project types. He has demonstrated the ability to learn effectively in fast-paced environments, gaining proficiency with design software, analytic tools, and technical application skills in the MEP industry while delivering practical solutions to challenging problems. He believes that learning is a privilege not given to all, so he pursues sharing his knowledge as it is received to assist and provide resources, solutions, and a better understanding of how we, as a community, can thrive together. While a member of the One Community team, Derrell helped develop MEP plans for the Earthbag Village construction project, including sharing and receiving knowledge with other One Community members.

Dipti Yadav – Software Engineer: Dipti is a Software Engineer with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a graduate of a full-stack development bootcamp. She has developed several applications leveraging cloud development, Golang, and JavaScript, demonstrating strong technical problem-solving abilities. Her work includes resolving complex issues such as concurrency and asynchronous call problems, which were critical to project stability. Dipti is a contributing member of the One Community development team, where she is helping build a collaborative platform designed to support individuals and teams working on community-driven positive change. The platform known as the Highest Good Network, includes features like task assignment, time tracking, and team collaboration tools. She has been instrumental in enhancing backend processes and ensuring the platform runs efficiently and reliably.

Durga Venkata Praveen Boppana – Software Engineer: Durga has approximately 5 years of experience designing and developing scalable applications across the Banking, Aviation, and Higher Education domains. He is highly skilled in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and microservices architecture, with expertise in building RESTful APIs, integrating legacy systems, and implementing secure authentication using OAuth2 and JWT. He also has front-end experience with React.js, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, along with cloud proficiency in AWS, Azure, and GCP. As a member of the One Community team, Durga has contributed to React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB development, reviewed GitHub pull requests, and fixed high-priority bugs to enhance the functionality and reliability of the Highest Good Network software.

Gayatri Pandkar – Architect: Gayatri is a Master of architecture graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. Her experience spans aviation, education, and community-focused projects, with an emphasis on sustainable and context-responsive design. She is passionate about creating spaces that foster connection, inclusivity, and environmental awareness through thoughtful architecture. Gayatri believes in integrating functionality with aesthetics to develop solutions that are both efficient and inspiring. As a member of the Architecture Team at One Community, she has worked on the 3D model and conceptual design for a desert Walipini structure, exploring sustainable strategies for passive climate control and resilient community living.

Harshavarma Rudhraraju – Software Engineer: Harshavarma has over 3 years of experience as a software engineer, specializing in designing scalable microservices, developing secure RESTful APIs, and building high-performance applications using Java, JavaScript, React, and Spring Boot. He earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University–Kingsville, where his thesis focused on scalable parallel algorithms for biological sequence alignment, improving runtime and memory efficiency for large-scale genomic data. As part of the One Community Software Team, Harshavarma has contributed to the Highest Good Network software, including the “Application/Job Posting Page” and the “PR Review Team Admin and Analytics Dashboard.” He has also resolved merge conflicts, reviewed tasks for completeness, and led the reviewer team in completing action items for the “Application/Job Posting Page.”

Hemanth Nidamanuru – Data Engineer: Hemanth holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University. With over three years of professional experience in data engineering and pipeline development, he has developed deep expertise in building production-grade systems across distributed data processing, real-time streaming, cloud infrastructure, and data quality assurance. His technical toolkit spans PySpark, Python, Kafka, Apache Airflow, Azure Databricks, AWS, and Snowflake, with a track record of delivering scalable, high-reliability pipelines in fast-paced Agile environments. As a volunteer contributor to the One Community team, Hemanth brings that same commitment to precision and quality to the Highest Good Network (HGN) application, actively contributing through thorough pull request reviews, functional UI test execution, defect identification and documentation, and end-to-end fix verification, helping ensure the platform remains stable, well-tested, and continuously improving.

Indra Anuraag Gade – Machine Learning Engineer: Indra holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from George Mason University. His professional background includes roles at Agilysys, Inc. and Samsung R&D Institute, where he contributed to projects involving generative models, computer vision, and scalable web applications. As a member of the One Community Admin Team and Highest Good Network Software Team, he conducts functional, UI, and regression testing, supports admin training, and streamlines processes by compiling summaries and editing content for the weekly progress blogs. He has also developed a comprehensive social media analytics dashboard to track engagement and guide strategy for One Community’s X (Twitter) account.

Jack Reed – Global Visionary and Author of The Next Evolution: A Blueprint for Transforming the Planet: Jack is a speaker, seminar leader, consultant for corporations and non-profit organizations, and trainer in the consensus process and mindsets and methodologies of people dedicated to a future supportive of The Highest Good of All. He has 15 years experience living in an urban cooperative community where he was an active leader and has used his knowledge and experience to help such clients as The Wilderness Institute, Amgen, the Educare Foundation, the Peace Theological Seminary, The University of Southern California, the Los Angeles Unified School District, Southern California Edison, and the National Parks Service. Jack facilitates consensus trainings for the One Community team and is an on-going consultant for our shared vision of a sustainable planet and demonstrating a blueprint for people living and creating for The Highest Good of All.

Japneet Kour– Architectural Designer: Japneet is an architectural designer with experience in sustainable design, climate-responsive architecture, and interdisciplinary project development. She has demonstrated strong capability in creating detailed 3D models, developing environmentally informed design solutions, and producing high-quality visualizations that support complex, sustainability-driven initiatives. Her work reflects a commitment to integrating functionality with environmental performance through research-based design and technical documentation. As a member of the One Community team, Japneet has completed the 3D model, climate-based design, renders, and walkthrough for aquapini and walipini #1 – Frost-Free Arid Zone Desert House, and is currently developing the 3D model and functional and environmental design elements for aquapini and walipini #3 – Tropical House.

Jaiwanth Reddy– Software Project Manager: Jaiwanth is agraduate student in Computer Science at the University of Florida, with a strong background in data science, AI, and full-stack development. He has a proven record of success in building advanced tools and models, like developing multi-feature data visualization dashboards that enhanced query performance. He’s passionate about turning complex data into simple, useful tools—whether it’s building interactive dashboards, designing AI-powered systems, or publishing research on deep learning ensemble models. He has experience working with GIS, Power BI, and advanced deep learning models. As part of the One Community team, Jaiwanth has contributed to data analysis and visualization efforts, creating intuitive dashboards, refining user experience through updated visual components, and supporting collaborative development in the Highest Good Network app by reviewing and guiding contributions from fellow team members.

Jin Hua – Internet Marketing Expert, Entrepreneur, and Web Developer: Introduced to the world of work at the age of 7, Jin worked at his family’s restaurant where he witnessed his parents working 14-hour days, 6 days a week, and realized that something was missing with the traditional “go to college, get a good job, raise a family” paradigm. In 9th grade Jin started his own business selling Chinese food and Candy, at the age of 17 he had an eBay business, and by the time he was 18 he started his own Internet Marketing Business. Through the years, he has taught himself website development, search engine optimization, video production, audio production, animation, and graphic design but his real passion is exploring ways to forward positive world change. As a One Community volunteer, Jin is helping with all aspects of the One Community marketing plan, graphic design, and web design. He is also responsible for much of the 3-D graphic design of the Duplicable City Center.

Karthik Madhusuthenan Pillai – Mechanical Engineer: Karthik is a mechanical engineering graduate from The University of Texas at Dallas, specializing in 3D CAD modeling, finite element analysis (FEA), project management, and new product development. As a member of the One Community team, he contributes to key design projects, including the Earthbag Village 4-Dome Cluster Roof design and the Vermiculture Toilet designs. In the Four Dome Cluster Roof project, Karthik is responsible for the complete design of the roof’s structural framing. He applies mechanical engineering principles to ensure the system can withstand various loads, using detailed FEA to evaluate load-bearing capacity, stress concentration, deformation, and material performance. This analysis allows him to identify potential weak points and optimize the design for durability and safety. For the Vermiculture Toilet project, Karthik is converting an existing structure into a unistrut-based system. He performs thorough structural analysis on the modified design, assessing improvements in reliability and scalability. His work also extends to engineering an efficient waste disposal mechanism that is easy to replicate for wider adoption. His focus is on creating a simplified system that integrates seamlessly into the overall design, prioritizing structural integrity, user convenience, and low manufacturing complexity. Keerthana Chitturi – System Administrator and Frontend Tester: Keerthana holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Purdue University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Vishnu Institute of Technology. Before joining One Community, she worked at Coforge, where she led engineering and quality assurance efforts for Pega-based CRM and financial applications, focusing on defect reduction, production stability, and on-time delivery. As a member of the One Community Highest Good Network team, Keerthana serves as a System Administrator and Frontend Tester for the Lucky Star Software Development Team. She manages documentation governance, summary quality control, and feedback workflows, and she coordinates Phase 3 testing to validate functionality against design standards and ensure smooth software deployment.

Lishin (Leo) Shiu – Data Engineer and Data Analyst: Leo holds an M.S. in Business Analytics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and has three years of hands-on experience in software development. He has demonstrated success working with data-driven systems, analytics, and cloud-based solutions to support efficient reporting and performance tracking. As a member of the One Community team, Leo developed a data pipeline that automatically loads raw data from Meta pages into dashboards hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). He also analyzes Meta Insights data and maintains visual charts and tables to track key performance metrics on a weekly basis. In addition, Leo assists with administrative responsibilities, including managing and organizing weekly blog content and creating visual collages.

Lin Khant Htel – Software Developer: Lin holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and is confident in contributing to the organization with his problem-solving and teamwork skills. After taking a career break, she returned to tech by upskilling in web technologies such as React, Next.js, Strapi, and PostgreSQL, and by volunteering on various open-source projects. She continues to upskill by analyzing problems and solving them through coding, incorporating feedback and collaboration to improve her approach. As part of One Community, Meenashi is contributing to the Highest Good Network by working on backend features for listing and bidding. She also worked with the PayPal API to create orders and process payments using webhooks; sent SMS using Twilio; sent emails via Gmail with Nodemailer; and implemented in-app notifications using Socket.io.

Michaela Silva – Licensed Architect: Michaela has over 10 years of experience as a project architect, designer and project manager. She has dedicated her career to working on multi-family residential and mixed-use projects. Michaela firmly believes in the beauty and importance of sustainability in the built environment and is excited to join the One Community team, where she can merge her passions for both architecture and sustainability. As a member of the One Community team, Michaela is working on the 4-dome earthbag village single family home design, where she has helped translate the vision into reality.

Mohammed Taariq Mansurie – Software Engineer: Taariq is a recent Computer Science master’s graduate from Portland State University and a dedicated software engineer with experience in full-stack development, cloud integration, and scalable systems. Muhammad Sarmad Tariq – Electrical Engineer: Sarmad is a PhD Electrical Engineering graduate from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. His research focus was Power Systems. He is originally from Pakistan and completed his bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from LUMS, Pakistan. Sarmad completed his master’s in Power Systems from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Before his PhD, he worked as a Research Associate on academic projects related to renewable energy systems. While a member of the One Community Team, Sarmad contributed to the Highest Good Energy component, analyzing and comparing the costs of on-grid solar PV systems versus off-grid solar PV systems, along with the various aspects associated with them. He created a report that can be used by a general user to guide them through the process of choosing between an on-grid solar PV system and an off-grid solar PV system.

Nahiyan Ahmed – Full Stack Software Developer: Nahiyan is a dedicated professional who recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. His passion for creating reliable and efficient software has been evident throughout his career. At Nanotronics, he contributed significantly by developing an application that streamlined the setup process for machines, enhancing efficiency and client satisfaction. With a strong focus on web development, Nahiyan joined One Community as a Full Stack Software Developer working on the Highest Good Network software. Olawunmi “Ola” Ijisesan– Administrative and Management Support: Ola completed her studies at Prairie State College, earning an Associate Degree in Business with a minor in Economics. While raising her children as a stay-at-home mom, she actively volunteered with various non-profit groups, spanning religious, charitable, and educational domains. Throughout these phases, she dedicated herself to enhancing adaptable skills that would prove valuable in her upcoming professional endeavors. With an unwavering enthusiasm for learning, Ola consistently seizes every chance to acquire new knowledge. Her upcoming goal involves pursuing a master’s degree, driven by a penchant for exploring novel avenues and a fervent desire to embrace fresh challenges. As a member of the One Community team, Veda works on Highest Good Network analytics dashboards, interactive educational platforms, and software development initiatives, creating user-friendly interfaces and backend APIs. Her work transforms complex data into actionable insights.

Venkataramanan Venkateswaran – Data Engineer: Venkataramanan is a Data Engineer with a strong interest in building scalable pipelines that enable efficient analytics and data-driven decision-making. He has experience working with technologies such as AWS (Glue, Lambda, Redshift, S3), PySpark, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, as well as backend and frontend development using Node.js, Express, and React.js. Venkataramanan has also built dashboards in Tableau and Power BI, helping teams uncover insights and achieve meaningful outcomes. Passionate about leveraging data for impact, he continues to explore areas such as generative AI, vector databases, and machine learning to expand his problem-solving toolkit. As a member of the One Community team, Venkataramanan has contributed to the Highest Good Network application by implementing hotfixes, reviewing pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts, ensuring the application is more stable and collaborative for all contributors.

Vinay Krishna Murthy– Software Engineer: Vinay pursued a Master of Science in Information Systems at Northeastern University and has over 2 years of professional experience building scalable backend systems and data-driven platforms. As a member of the One Community Software Team, he has contributed to the Highest Good Network and HGNRest repositories by enhancing dashboard components, refining data tables and UI layouts, and improving responsiveness across administrative and user-facing views. His work includes implementing dark mode fixes, improving data presentation logic, resolving UI inconsistencies, and supporting pull request reviews to strengthen code quality and maintainability. Through these contributions, Vinay has helped improve the stability, clarity, and overall user experience of One Community’s open-source software infrastructure.

Yiyun Tan – Software Engineer: Yiyun has 2 years professional experience as a software engineer. She earned her Masters degree in Computer Engineering and Bachelors degree in Software engineering. Yiyun has experience in Object-Oriented programming and testing and knowledge of design principles and coding practices. In her free time, she likes watching dramas, doing fitness and baking. Yiyun joined the One Community team to participate and contribute to a large-scale project and is helping with the Highest Good Network application.

Yulin Li – Industrial & Product Designer: Yulin is an industrial and product designer with hands-on experience in sustainable design, UX/UI, and product development. She holds a Master of Science in Technology Innovation (MSTI) from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Product Design from Parsons School of Design, graduating with top honors. Yulin has worked on diverse projects spanning consumer electronics, sustainable materials, and user-centered product innovation, blending technology, design, and environmental responsibility. She has contributed to industry-leading companies such as vivo and La PEARL, and to open-source sustainability initiatives with One Community. Yulin is passionate about using design to improve quality of life, drive sustainable practices, and create thoughtful experiences that balance aesthetics and functionality. As a member of the Graphic Design Team, she contributes infographics and visual communication materials, refining messaging and layout to strengthen the impact of sustainability-focused content.

Yusuf Sulayman – Lawyer and member of the Nigerian Bar Association: Yusuf obtained his law degree from Bayero University, Kano in 2012 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2013. He immediately joined the law firm of Belgore, Olufadi & Co. as counsel until March 2014 when he briefly joined the Supreme Court of Nigeria for his National Youth Service Corps. Yusuf strives to achieve professional excellence, challenge conventional attitudes, explore new ideas, and contribute positively to any and all activities and organizations he engages. To One Community, he has brought the zeal to professionally contribute his legal knowledge and ability to learn and apply diverse skills towards attaining One Community’s vision and core values through effectiveness and good teamwork.
