Aly is a student in Antioch University Bachelor’s Leadership for Service and Change program, creative director & co-owner of Roots of Medicine, and kitchen co-manager and secretary on the board of directors at The Artisan Wheelhouse. She is also independently studying herbalism and holistic medicine, and plant-based nutrition and sustainability. Her additional interests include multicultural studies, sculpture, writing and photography. Aly’s main goals for joining the One Community Highest Good Food team involve designing sustainable meal plans with ingredients sourced from local farms and small businesses with hopes to share the model with small groups and communities in need.
