Here is our second video blog covering the progress of the week of March 4, 2013 including progress to our open source Education for Life Program, the SEGO Center City Hub, and the Pod 1 facility that will produce tropical food and function as social space too. One very exciting development from last week that we forgot to mention in the video blog was the publishing of one of our articles by Neale Donald Walsch’s (international speaker and author of the Conversations with God book series) organization called The Global Conversation. The article is called “Creating an Open Source and Free-shared Collaborative Planet” and you can read our blog on it here.

The response to our first video blog was very positive so we are going to do at least one video blog a week until we get on the property and will be doing at least 3-4 blogs and/or tutorials each day.
Here are the newly completed pages referenced in the video blog:
We have now also finished the images for all the other curriculum pages too. Check them out:
HONESTY & INTEGRITY ● INTERCONNECTEDNESS ● DIVERSITY
COMMUNICATION ● SHARING ● CONTRIBUTION ● COLLABORATION
MINDFULNESS & FUN ● COMMUNITY ● FREEDOM ● KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM
This week the goal is getting the completed Orff Schulwerk and Waldorf educational information added to the website and then “cross pollinating” the information from those pages (Montessori Page) into all the related Curriculum for Life, Teaching Strategies for Life, Teaching Tools for Life, and Ultimate Classroom pages. We’ll also be getting the completed information for the Honesty and Integrity curriculum and Interconnectedness curriculum pages up on the website as well this week.
The foundational designs for the Pod 1 Tropical Food and Social Space are now complete. The next step is planning what we will be growing in this space, putting together a harvest schedule, and starting to put together the details fo the graywater processing component of this space and the materials details. All of this information, and a ton more of research that we’ve already done will be organized in a new open source Tropical Food Production page we are creating so we can organized all the details specific to the R&D and open source project-launch blueprinting specific to this structure: HERE’S THE PAGE
Here are a few of Douglas Simms Stenhouse’s (Architect and Water Color Artist) drawings showing the evolution of this structure from the most basic sketches to the detailed drawings we now have. While these most recent drawings were all completed in the last couple of weeks, the evolution of this structure has taken over two years.

We’ve also been working hard on the SEGO Center City Hub. Here is the redmarked CAD images showing the changes we are making. Karl Harris (Architect Drafter, Designer, and founder of Harris Design & Technology Services) should have an updated CAD export to clearly depict these updates completed for us sometime in the next week. As part of our open source project-launch blueprinting program, when this building is done we will have complete open source and free-shared blueprints, an archive of detailed construction tutorials, and everything else necessary to make duplication or evolution of this building as easy as possible virtually anywhere in the world – including established relationships with the design professionals who have helped us and the producers of all the materials to make modifications as affordable and easy as possible too.
